Bashar tells Earth's deep history as a single diagram — nine symbols in a 3×3 grid he calls the Interstellar Enneagram, or the “Anog.” Two civilizations shaped us most: the Anunnaki, who altered our bodies, and Orion, whose long war seeded our history. Here is the story, in order, with the moments he tells each part.
This is an unofficial, fan-made explainer, written from Bashar’s public YouTube talks. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Bashar Communications or Darryl Anka, and nothing here is channeled. We describe the idea as accurately as we can — but for the real thing, go to the source.
The Anog is not a circle. It is nine squares in a square, three rows of three. Each square is a symbol — what he calls a “vibrational phone number” — for one civilization in Earth’s story. The four edges name the frame: Hypersapien above, Protosapien below, Reptilian left, New Hybrids right.
Read the rows as time. The bottom row is the past — Orion, the Anunnaki, the Grey Federation. The middle row is the present — Essassani, Earth in the center, and the hybrid Ya’yel. The top row is the future — Sirius, Arcturus, the Pleiades. This page follows the past row, starting where the oldest thread starts: Orion.
The oldest thread begins, Bashar says, millions of years ago in the systems of Orion, on a world called Huva — the seat of a government he describes as crushingly oppressive. A resistance formed against it, the Black League, named for working in the dark, unseen.
Their hard lesson is the point of the whole story: fighting the oppression with its own tactics only made it worse — “if you fight fire with fire, you just get more fire.” So they changed method, meeting the negativity with positive energy instead, and over a very long time transmuted the entire Orion system from darkness to light. That is what the Orion banner records: a black bar at the bottom, a red bar in the middle, a white bar on top — negative to positive, passing through the red of blood and suffering. Bashar notes the same three colors recur in oppressive movements throughout our own history.
To finish working that negativity out, ancient Orion consciousness took incarnation elsewhere — and one place it came was here. First to a planet that no longer exists, which Bashar calls Maldek; its negativity grew unmanageable and it was destroyed in collisions, leaving what we now call the asteroid belt. The incarnational stream moved next to Mars, then inhabited, until its atmosphere was stripped away. Only then, comparatively recently, did it reach Earth — landing, he says, in the region we call the Middle East.
The other decisive influence is older on Earth than the Orion arrival. About 500,000 years ago, a civilization called the Anunnaki altered the natural hominid Homo erectus into Homo sapiens. The reason, in his account, was practical: they wanted a workforce to mine gold. The branch of that hominid they left alone kept evolving on its own — and became, he says, what we call Sasquatch. Had none of us been altered, we would all be Sasquatch.
A council of Anunnaki had not authorized this tinkering, and when they found out, they recalled the contingent that had done it — leaving the new humans to grow largely on their own. But the bloodline stayed. That, Bashar says, is the real root of the “royal” idea: the Anunnaki were faintly blue-tinged, so a “blue blood” line came to be seen as the purest — running through the kings of Atlantis, of Egypt, the pharaohs, the whole notion of royalty.
One thing he is careful to rule out: this is not the conspiracy theory about reptilians secretly controlling royal bloodlines. Elsewhere he calls that idea a fallacy — a garbled echo of the Anunnaki story, not a claim that anyone runs the world from the shadows today.
The third square in the past row is the Grey Federation, and Bashar’s framing is the striking part: the Greys are not aliens. Most are mutated humans from a parallel Earth that destroyed itself — a version of us that leaned so hard into technology and intellect that it starved its own emotion, then strip-mined and deforested its world until it could barely live there.
Cloning kept them going but led to a genetic dead end. Needing fresh, original human DNA, they used their technology to tunnel into parallel realities where humans still thrived — ours among them — to build a hybrid race. That program is why several hybrid civilizations exist, one of which, Bashar says, is his own. The “Federation” is an amalgamation of factions, including tall insect-like “mantis” overseers.
The middle row of the diagram is the present: the hybrid races and Earth at the center. Each race has its own colored symbol — a white pentagon with a colored dot (gold, blue, violet, or black), and the more-human Ya’yel with a green mark. Earth’s own symbol is a nested set of squares: blue (water), green (land), white (air).
And Earth is going somewhere. As we become what he calls the sixth hybrid race, our symbol changes to a black field with a hexagon and a violet dot — and as it matures, that dot opens into a six-pointed violet star. Further out still is a seventh race, a white hexagon with a black star, which he ties to spacetime itself.
Bashar laid this out across a three-day weekend (Los Angeles, 2014), one row at a time: the past row first (Orion, Anunnaki, Greys — this page), then the present row (Essassani and the hybrids), then the future row (Sirius, Arcturus, the Pleiades). If you want the rest:
“This is really just a matrix of nine squares in a square — three rows of three… a permission-slip visual representation of different frequencies, like a phone number for that particular civilization.”
“The Anunnaki are the extraterrestrial civilization generally responsible for the alteration of your genetic structure from Homo erectus to Homo sapien… to aid them in mining minerals — gold in particular.”
“This began somewhere around 500,000 of your years ago… those branches of the hominid species that were not altered… evolved into the form you now call Sasquatch.”
“…the ancient 10 kings of Atlantis… Egypt as having kings and then eventually pharaohs. But all this goes back to the blue bloods, the royal lines… traced back to the Anunnaki, who were slightly bluishly tinged.”
“This story begins millions of your years ago in the ancient systems of Orion… a society under great suppression, great oppression… on one of the worlds called Huva… the central seat of the Orion government, which was very oppressive.”
“…the three-bar banner… at the bottom a black bar, in the middle a red bar, and at the top a white bar, showing the transformation from negative to positive — but it occurred through the middle bar of red, through the blood of the people.”
“…some of the first incarnations of ancient Orion energy occurred on a planet that is now what you call your asteroid belt… we will choose the idea of Maldek… The incarnations then moved to the next habitable planet, which you now call Mars.”
“The greys are not really alien beings… a race of mutated humans from a parallel Earth that destroyed itself… so focused on technology and intellectuality, eventually they sacrificed emotionality.”
“As the Earth becomes the sixth hybrid race, that will be represented by a black background with a hexagon with a violet dot… and as it evolves, that violet dot will turn into a six-pointed violet star.”
The through-line of the whole diagram is Bashar’s core claim that beliefs create reality and that you move between parallel realities — the Greys, after all, reach us by tunneling between versions of Earth. The symbols themselves he calls permission slips, the same tool described in permission slips.
It is a diagram Bashar calls the 'Anog' (his word for the number nine) — a 3×3 grid of nine civilizations that together tell Earth's galactic history. It is a square, not a circle: nine symbols framed by Hypersapien (top), Protosapien (bottom), Reptilian (left), and New Hybrids (right). The three rows read roughly as past (bottom), present (middle), and future (top).
An extraterrestrial civilization that, about 500,000 years ago, genetically altered the natural hominid Homo erectus into Homo sapiens — largely to have a workforce to mine gold. He says the unaltered branch of that hominid became what we call Sasquatch, and that the Anunnaki 'blue blood' is the origin of the idea of royal bloodlines.
No — he explicitly rejects that. He calls the idea that reptilians control the royal lineages a fallacy and a fantasy, a garbled throwback to the ancient Anunnaki story. The 'blue blood' in his account is an origin myth about genetics, not a claim that anyone secretly runs the world today.
Bashar describes ancient Orion (on a world called Huva) as deeply oppressive. A resistance called the Black League learned that 'fighting fire with fire just makes more fire' and slowly transmuted the whole system from negative to positive — 'through the blood.' Their symbol is a black/red/white banner. That Orion energy then incarnated through our solar system: first on Maldek (now the asteroid belt), then Mars, then Earth.
Yes — it's a three-part weekend (Los Angeles, 2014). Part 1 covers the past / bottom row (Orion, Anunnaki, Greys). Part 2 covers the present / middle row (Essassani and the hybrid races). Part 3 covers the future / top row (Sirius, Arcturus, Pleiades). Links are in the last section.
